FreeSports is a British, free-to-air sports channel operated and owned by Premier Media S.A.R.L. The channel launched in August 2017 and operates in the United Kingdom predominantly, however, does have a paired channel that is available in the Republic of Ireland.

Objective

The objective of our campaign with FreeSports was to target Polish people in the UK to promote the channel. This was to be done through Polish Media in the UK to ensure that the correct audience saw the advertising. FreeSport wanted to target Polish people as they were launching Polish Football and Speedway on the platform in the UK.

Mechanics

The campaign itself saw us secure advertising space in Polish publications and news portals and gain coverage in these publications additionally through press releases. During the campaign we secured a number of features and coverage in Polish media that we were able to write and collate ourselves.

We also negotiated and closed a number of lucrative advertising spaces for FreeSport including a front-page ad space along with other advertising coverage.

Outcome

As mentioned, the campaign saw us secure a number of features in key Polish Ethnic Media channels as well as securing front page ad space as well as other advertising space at competitive pricing. All this resulted in great coverage for FreeSport’s channel and resulted in thousands of viewers tuning in to their Polish focused sporting programming.
