Skrill Money Transfer
Our partnership with Skrill Money Transfer saw us encouraging more sign-ups and creating easily accessible tutorials to enable users to navigate the site and app. The aim was to drive online traffic to the worldwide site.
The first campaign we worked on with Skrill was to plan, create, and then deliver several video testimonials of real Skrill customers to upload to YouTube. The videos were aimed to be delivered in Poland and therefore the customers in the testimonials spoke in Polish.
The second campaign we ran used both below the line and above the line marketing techniques including TV adverts, e sampling emails, and paid social campaigns aimed at the Polish and Filipino communities. The work we delivered for the Polish targeted campaigns was released in the UK, USA, Germany, and Holland. The Filipino campaigns were released in the UK, Australia, and Canada.
We then recruited Ravi Bopara the British cricket player to do a paid promotion on socials to his 77.4k followers via Instagram and 275.8k Twitter followers. We worked with Ravi Bopara to post 2 static images on each platform. The British cricketer aimed his posts to the Indian community to let them know via Skrill they can do free transfers to India and 50+ more countries.
The final part of our campaign saw Youtubers create ‘how to’ transfer tutorials directed at people in India, the Philippines, Nigeria, and Poland.
The relationship we have with Skrill is ongoing and we hope to see the results continue to grow. Skrill’s Money Transfer testimonials available on YouTube are doing very well with a combined viewing of over 900 views. We have also seen the sign-ups to Skill increase at a steady rate since we have been involved with the team.
